🟠 We've been building this for 11 years

The Couple·preneur

Hey friend,

Eleven years ago, Adam and I got married barefoot in the botanical gardens of Key West, surrounded by a small group of friends we’d made over nine months of living there.

We showed up with no jobs and no long-term place to stay, just a dream of building a life that wasn’t boring.

We had no roadmap, but we did have a shared sense that life was meant to be lived fully.

And we wanted to build that life...together.

Here we are eleven years later.

Still committed to that same spontaneity while building a business together.

The best partnerships aren't just about love. They're about a shared vision.

Maggie and I have always been aligned on one thing:

We want to build a life and business that serves us, not the other way around.

That means:

→ Working together even if it’s on separate ventures
→ Supporting each other's individual growth
→ Creating space for both adventure and depth
→ Raising our kids in a world where work and life aren't at war

What I’ve come to love about our story and the paths we’ve chosen to walk together is how we keep returning to the same simple question:

Are we living by design or by default?

That question is a steady invitation.
To pay attention.
To choose deliberately.
To live on purpose.

Sometimes the way forward feels unclear.
Sometimes the weight of that autonomy is heavy.
Some moments it may feel easier to just go through the motions than to keep creating and building.

But we weren’t made to ride passenger.
We were made to build, to lead, to create!

And our relationship is one of the greatest gifts we have in that process.

It reminds us that it's not about:

Goals or perfection.
Right or wrong.
Success or failure.

It’s about the process.
The returning.

To each other.
To what matters.
To the values that ground us.
To the love that inspires the vision.

May we continuously return to the thread underneath it all, the love that holds every part of life together.

Eleven years later, we still don’t have a roadmap.
Just that same shared sense, that life is meant to be lived fully.
And we’re still committed to building it...together.

Only now, I think we’re asking better questions.
And making more space for each other, for growth, for the sacred in-between.

So here’s to MANY more years of building boldly and living intentionally. To businesses that serve the life, not the other way around.

Here’s to building a life you love,

Maggie (& Adam)

P.S. Shoutout to all the other couples out there who are on this same journey! Committed to each other and to living boldly while building and creating both together and alongside one another!

Reply with how many years you've been with your partner! Let's celebrate each other!

My Tiny Experiment UPDATE!!!

✨Virtual Live Yoga - Summer Series✨

In our last newsletter, I shared that I was running a tiny experiment inspired by this incredible podcast episode. Stop Setting Goals, Do This Instead.

My experiment?

To host a virtual live yoga series, 3 sessions a week for 2 weeks, and then reflect using the Plus / Minus / Next framework.

Right now, I’m exactly halfway through.
Three sessions down, three to go.

I’ve been practicing awareness and observation, and I’m not gonna lie...

My inner judge has definitely been loud at times, wondering if I should tweak something, change this, adjust that.

But that’s the beauty of treating it like an experiment.

Instead of reacting mid-way through, I’ve been able to notice those thoughts, jot down a few notes, and keep moving forward.

It’s been such a gift to have a structure that helps me observe without rushing to fix or perfect.

I’ll share my full reflection at the end, but even now, I can already say: this has been a success.

I capped the series at 12 spots to keep it intimate, and they
SOLD OUT!

I’m already planning a Fall Series, so if this speaks to you and you want early access,
click here to join the waitlist before it sells out again.
