What date balls taught us about entrepreneurship

The Couple·preneur

Hey friend,

If you would’ve asked us last week how things were going,
we would’ve said: slow.

But, like Hemingways quote about going bankrupt, things tend to happen “Gradually, and then suddenly."

And honestly? That’s exactly how this past week felt.

A few highlights from the chaos (in the best way):
→ 2 coaching calls
→ 3 strategy/discovery calls using our new outreach strategy
→ 2 kickoff calls for our Personal Brand Accelerator
→ Adam gave a LinkedIn outreach presentation to a room full of B2B professionals
→ From that, Adam landed a follow-up speaking gig (that's now 2 presentations scheduled for May)
→ We sold our highest-ticket Content Growth Engine package (!) in which our client said yes on the first call.
→ Adam recorded a podcast episode with Emanuel Bagerakis where they explored creating live LinkedIn content together. (Super fun collab!)

And the best part?
→ A couple reached out to us to be on The Couplepreneur Podcast.
That’s a first and we’re stoked!

We’re sharing all of this not to brag (well… maybe a little),
but because last week we were questioning if anything was moving.

Now we’re neck-deep in delivery and momentum.

The lesson?
Keep going, even when it feels like nothing’s happening.
Because sometimes all the pieces click at once.

Here's to living a life you love,
Adam & Maggie

In other news…

I (Maggie) have been finding my creative groove reading, writing, designing, and telling stories that feel like us.

Arlo and I were making date balls the other day, and it reminded so much of building a business.

At first all the ingredients are chopped up and messy.

But the more you keep stirring, the more you keep showing up... eventually things start sticking together.

It starts to take shape.

I had a great time writing this piece, and the date balls were delicious too!

I hope you enjoy.

What making date balls with my 8 year old taught me about entrepreneurship.
