Hey friend,
I’m in the middle of reading two books this summer...
The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins (all about relationships)
and Make Money Easy by Lewis Howes (all about money).
And I can't help but notice a striking connection between the two:
Money and relationships both magnify whatever’s already alive within us.
At first, that might sound unsettling.
But I actually think it’s good news.
It means how we experience money, marriage, motherhood, family, or business has less to do with the thing itself and more to do with our inner world.
When I feel grounded, money feels light.
When I feel centered, I meet tension in my relationships with grace.
When I feel steady, I make clear, confident decisions.
But when I’m feeling off or overwhelmed?
Even the smallest financial choice or casual comment from a loved one can feel frustrating.
That’s the magnifier at work.
It’s not here to judge, it’s here to reflect.
And that reflection can be a guide (which is helpful)!
It can give us clarity as to what we’re believing, needing, wanting.
Because when we think more money or better relationships will finally fix the stress or self-doubt we’re feeling…
It's often a gentle signal we’re reaching outside ourselves for something only we can give.
The truth is:
Neither money nor relationships can give us the validation we crave.
And when we expect them to, we get stuck in cycles of grasping, performing, and proving.
But when we remember that we come to this life already whole.
When we know our enough-ness, when we see ourselves as amazing.
We stop needing the world to deliver something to us…
And instead, recognize what we have to offer the world.
We show up steady.
We show up generous.
We show up ready to co-create and play.
We show up from a place of overflow, ease, and abundance.
This week, I’m paying closer attention to how money and relationships reflect what’s happening inside me.
I think there’s a quiet kind of empowerment in that.
Because if the real work is inside…
Then the path forward doesn’t have to depend on the next sale, the next vacation, or the next perfect conversation.
We get to come home to ourselves, again and again.
And when we do that,
Money becomes a tool, not a trap.
Relationships become a place of growth, not grasping.
I want to challenge myself to pause.
To breathe.
To ask myself, What’s being magnified?
And what does that reveal about what I truly believe, need, or want right now?
There’s wisdom in the question itself.
And often, that’s where the shift begins.
If we let our inner world lead, everything else starts to fall into place.
That's why I'm offering a free 60 min workshop this Friday at 4:30pm CT to help you answer the question, "What Am I Magnifying?"
I'm limiting the seats to 10 lovely souls to keep things intimate.

P.S.
Sometimes the most powerful shift doesn’t come from fixing anything,
Sometimes all it takes is a breath and a better question.
Also, we’re curious, what are your summer reads?
What’s stirring something in you lately?
Hit reply and let us know, we'd love to be inspired!
And in case you were wondering...
The boys are back in town!
After an amazing ride across the state with just pedal power we welcomed Adam and Arlo back home after 9 days away!
They came back with some pretty epic stories...and tan lines.
We’re so grateful for the adventure they shared as father and son.
The confidence built. The friendships made. The life lessons experienced. And a whole new appreciation for our beautiful home state.
You can read more about their adventure from Adam's perspective here.
